March 20, 2012
Spring is here! Gone are the boots, mittens, snow pants and winter coats. Getting ready for outdoors only takes minutes. The children come in with smiling faces and thoughts of warm days ahead. Spring will bloom in our classroom too. We will be creating an acrostic poem telling of the joys of this season. Learning about the changes that take place during this wonderful time of year will be our new theme. This week, we will focus on weather, as we create a colorful book to share with you. The children enjoy all the interesting science activities that go along with this unit. Next week, we will continue this unit. I hope winter doesn't make a return visit!
