A PEEK AT THE WEEK NOVEMBER 10, 2008

We have a week full of wonderful activities that are not in our usual schedule.

Monday, November 10
We will have our first School Family Time. We will be mixing up our classrooms to give it a family-like atmosphere and doing some fun activities together. The children loved this last year. The purpose of this program is to reduce bullying by forming bonds between multi-aged students.

Tuesday, November 11th
Remember to wear red, white and blue as we celebrate Veterans Day with a school-wide program honoring those who have served our country.

Thursday, November 13th
It is our 50th day of school!
Boys and Girls - Grab your bobby socks and leather coats, roll up your blue jeans, slick back your hair or wear a pony tail! Come to school dressed in your favorite 50’s style. We plan to celebrate this day by focusing on math. I have several fun math activities planned. And of course, we will top off the day by having a sock hop!

Friday, November 14th
Len Quinn and his dog Ginger will visit our school. Len is legally blind. Ginger is his Leader Dog. Len has done over 300 presentations at various schools explaining the Leader Dog program. Thank you to Lions International for making this program possible for us.

100% Attendance at Conferences
Thank you for coming to conferences last week. If you ever want an update or have a concern just give me a call. Together we make a strong team!

Have a great week!
