GINGERBREAD HOUSES

Dear Parents,

On Friday, December 12th our kindergartners will be decorating gingerbread houses! Please look over the attached supply list and send in your child’s supplies by Tuesday, December 9th. Each child may invite one special guest to join us. All are welcome-parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles, neighbors or other special adults! The festivities will begin at 1:30 in the afternoon in our room. It should last approximately an hour. You will be able to take your child with you at the end of the day. If you are unable to find someone for your child, please let us know so we can make other arrangements.

The Kindergarten students are getting excited about making Gingerbread Houses on Friday, December 12! We would appreciate your help, by donating two or more of the following items listed below, along with your can of vanilla frosting and ice cream pail with the lid. Please send items to school by Tuesday, December 9th.

*One can of vanilla frosting (each child needs one)
* One ice cream pail with cover (each child needs one)
* Ice cream cones (pointy ones) for trees
* Colored marshmallows
* Colorful cereal such as Fruit Loops
* Gumdrops (hedges and roof tops)
* Mini candy canes
* Chocolate chips
* Sprinkles
* Hard candies
* Colored sugars
* M&M’s
* Any thing else that might be a fun surprise
But no coconut please due to allergies

I will donate the boxes of graham crackers. I look forward to sharing this special day with you!
